Matt Bernard - Owner

Matt Bernard Matthew Bernard is a 13 year veteran of the U.S. Army. His military career began as a Telecommunications Specialist and was the Distinguished Honor Graduate of his Infantryman class. He also attended Airborne and Air Assault School. In 2000 Matthew left military service for the first time.

After the events of 9/11/2001, Matthew joined the National Guard. His unit was mobilized and deployed several times serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Matthew earned several awards as a member of the National Guard including the Combat Infantryman Badge, 2 Purple Hearts, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal. Matthew left the Army as an Staff Sergeant in 2008.

Matthew began his civilian career as a Network Technician after he left the Army in 2000. He quickly earned the certifications required to be promoted through the ranks ultimately working as a Senior Network Engineer until 2008.

After a distinguished military career, Matthew decided to put his leadership and experience as a Network Engineer and soldier into starting his own computer services company. In 2008, Matthew launched Brinestone.
